SHIFT

Breathwork and the Nervous System is a huge passion of mine and it is my intention is to bring it to as many people as possible to reduce the stress, overwhelm and suffering, get back into our bodies, feeling free and alive- one person at a time.

I am a high energy, firecracker devoted to guiding women towards owning their worth in the world. My own journey to healing my past pain from emotional & physical abuse in childhood, sexual assault, divorce and sudden death of my brother, sparked my desire to support others.

Through years of working with the some of the best trauma, somatic and spiritual teachers in the world, my passion is to bridge ancient knowledge with modern science and spirituality so that you walk away with a complete mind, body and soul transformation.

I guide groups, individuals and organizations on how to

move through overwhelm, negative thoughts, anxiety, low self esteem & past trauma so they can feel confident, energized & committed to living from a place of joy & worthiness.

I am an international trauma informed Master Coach, Breathwork facilitator & creator of Break-Free Breathwork Method.

Together we create a space for you to feel safe and comfortable for a deep dive into opening your heart and healing to create a long lasting change and confidence to step towards what you truly want in life.

In 2012 I felt like a completely hopeless case, stuck on a hamster wheel of an unfulfilling job, a toxic marriage and zero self esteem or confidence. I was living an unbalanced life marked by depression, severe anxiety, unhealthy foods, and unhealthy thoughts and not a clue where to even start to figure out how to change it.

Honestly, If you looked at my life from a birds eye view, it looked quite perfect, all the boxes were checked: job, married, beautiful home, nice car, nice clothes, an ideal life from the outside. But that Tuesday morning in June, standing in my perfect living room looking at the perfect view of the water and mountains, if you looked internally, in my heart, I was hurting...deeply.

What I didn't know is that my trauma from the past was affecting how I was living in the present. As a kid my environment growing up was toxic, there was verbal abuse, emotional neglect and physical abuse. Then I was raped at 19, feeling broken and ashamed, I completely abandoned myself. Unbeknownst to me, I took all of my past trauma into my present adult life.

That Tuesday morning I hit a wall, I broke down with one of the roughest anxiety attacks I've ever had. I knew if I didn't walk away now, I never would and this vicious cycle would continue. I knew I had to stop listening to others, stop people pleasing and finally reclaim my voice and advocate for what I wanted. So I did, I made the hardest decision I'd ever made in my life. I packed my bags and walked away from everything I knew as "safe & secure" to start a new life.

I immersed myself into exploring the authentic truth of self-love. My path was no walk in the park, as a matter of fact at first, my anxiety and depression reared its ugly head even more. This was all so new to me, in the beginning my "self love" was on the surface: massages, mani-pedis & retail therapy. Also finally realizing changing jobs, partners and homes was just a temporary bandaid and that medication was not an option for me. I dove deeper, what truly shifted me was the deep inner work. That work happened and was supported by yoga, meditation and ultimately breathwork & somatic practices. Attending seminars and workshops as well as working with top trauma & life coaches I was able to feel something incredible....alive, whole and worthy of love.

I'm a firm believer that we all deserve to live fun, fulfilling and balanced lives. I've been successful at shifting my life mentally, physically and emotionally and I am compelled to share these insights and tools so that YOU can all live a happier, healthier life.

This passion started local, in my birthplace, Philadelphia, PA. My charity work and community involvement began while I was in college and was privileged to perform as an NFL cheerleader. This exposure gave me the platform to reach out in many areas, from raising money for various charities, giving my time and energy at local shelters, feeding the homeless or speaking to youth at inner-city schools.

I was inspired and grateful for these experiences. Soon after, I traveled to Thailand to dance in a music video. Little did I know that an ankle injury two days into my trip would prevent me from continuing that journey but another door opened to a life changing opportunity. Since my flight arrangements were nonrefundable I was "stuck" on the island of Kho-Phi-Phi, I quickly learned that I was just around the coast to where they had been hit by the epic tsunami just a few months previous.

They were still suffering from this catastrophe and knowing I'm not one to sit still for very long, I found myself volunteering .

I spent time in the local villages helping rebuild their homes for the duration of my stay. Exposed to such tragedy, I was forever changed. Shortly after returning to the states, with a new perspective on life, a mission to continue serving and a whole lot of hope, I dove into the unknown and set Maryvale Angels, my nonprofit, in motion.

Since then I've traveled to over 50 countries, inspiring others near and far, in anyway I felt I could reach them, be it spending time hearing their voice, leading workshops, teaching, building, farming, listening, observing, marinating in the culture, I am addicted!
